Free: Margaret's one-page After-65 Bill Check. Get it by email
Many senior prices are real, but you often have to ask for them. This guide lists nine we checked on the provider's own official page on October 15, 2026, what each saves, and how to claim it. Some are national and some are local, and we say which. We left out anything we could not confirm. For tax breaks and other offers, see our senior discounts page.

How to ask
If a place does not list a senior price, ask politely at the register or when you book. Rules vary by store, state and date, and some need a membership or an ID. Local transit and park prices depend on where you live, so check your own city or state.
Bigger savings
Small discounts add up, but the bigger money is in bills. See 9 bills that can shrink or stop after 65 and Medicare Savings Programs.
What we left out
We left out offers we could only find on third-party lists, offers whose regular price we could not confirm, and prices that conflicted between official pages. Prices were checked October 15, 2026 and can change. Walgreens dates in particular vary, so confirm the date on its page.
